Hazmat: HazCom 2012
This 10 min video goes over OSHA's HazCom 2012 Labeling manual.
In order to operate successfully, all trucking companies must utilize certain chemicals in the workplace. These chemicals may include diesel fuel, anti-freeze, motor oil, cleaning solvents, and many others. If we are exposed to these chemicals, we may be at risk of illness or injury. When the chemicals are stored and labeled properly, your employer can help protect individuals from harm.
This video follows the guidelines published by the Occupational Health & Safety administration or (OSHA) in their “HazCom 2012 Labeling” manual, which replaced the old version often called Right to Know or HazCom 1994.
